ABOUT THE EVENT:
August 11, 2019 10am - 4pm: All Day MKE
All Day MKE celebrates young artists from across our city, at our Museum.
Join us for the grand unveiling of our 2018 MAM ArtXpress Teen Murals, first ever MAM Teen Artist Marketplace, featuring public art activations and soundscape by True Skool and a youth choreographed performance inspired by William Kentridge, by the Lincoln Center Children's Outing Association dance group and much more!
Mobilizing our collective momentum to create a Milwaukee where everyone from across neighborhoods can experience our best. All Day MKE invites innovators and their families to engaging events that will lift a collective and vibrant vision for the culture of our city. All inspired artists, inventors, social and business developers from every sector are invited - but you have to bring your families!
Free and open to residents, MAM members, organizations, strategists, makers, professionals and especially anyone that doesn't usually enjoy the lakefront and Milwaukee Art Museum. Community stakeholders, generational leadership and forward thinking connectors will have space to review projects, celebrate successes, network and acknowledge all of the great momentum in Milwaukee. Now is the time.
